Redemption Klothing agro continues
So today 's xmas present turns up within a week of me ordering it from abroad. However I am still waiting for a jacket from Redemption Klothing that I paid for on the 18th of October, and was apparently shipped on the 20th of October. It is now the 29th of November, and is so has been lost in the post for 40 days. I've spoken to them (rather politely via email) and all I get is the same crap that
So unfortunately I took steps and opened a paypal dispute that it hadn't arrived (and also to insure myself against the loss as I had to open said dispute within 45 days of purchase). And the response????
They give me through the paypal message system the same postal info which is useless as it isn't tracked and they have to follow it up if it is lost/delayed.
Plus it has now got to the point where I've not had the top for Whitby, another club night and a photo shoot with .
Do I feel like I will get the item ready for Venice as that's what it's for. I dunno? Am I being unreasonable? Impatient? I have a mind to leave it another week and then repost all this on the lip service lj's to show how poor the customer service is.
Any other suggestions on how to sort this out other than the obvious which has been done in a nice and polite manner?
I am Jack's raging pissed off mode; I get annoyed I get Jack to knife people
EDIT: Turns out the jacket has turned up back in the US with Redemption Klothing after it was labled by Royal Mail as 'Not Called For', dated the 21st of the November. Ummm what???? What the frak does that mean.? Did I get a little red card saying to pick it up... um no. Dithey try and redeliever it. NO. Oh and of course if they had done that then it wouldn't have wasted the time and effort of the pople handling it to ship it back again. What a joke..... and no punchline???
- I need to wait for it as it may still be in customs or delayed by the UK postal strikes
- That it may get sent back to them as undelievered.
- They have given me all the postal details but it isn't tracked.

Interesting read
Athena and Eve: The Real Meaning of Greek Myth
Ancient Greek religion, what we call mythology, tells the same story as the Book of Genesis, except that the serpent is the enlightener of mankind rather than our deceiver. Athena represents Eve—the reborn serpent’s Eve in the new Greek age. She and the Parthenon and the entire ancient Greek religious system celebrate the rejuvenation and re-establishment of the way of Kain (Cain) after the Flood. Though on one hand Greek idolatry violates the teaching of the Word of God, on the other, if properly understood, it reinforces the truth of the Scriptures.
Of course pinch of salt required but it does highlight the differences between gnostic and monotheism.

A mixed bag
The end of the conference
Ok so I did promise some pictures from the last day of my conference... here goes... however I can't remember anything about the actual lectures from those last few days.
The last day was spent in Camden and then at kr0n and Joes and generally chilling out.
Of course since then and something I've not written about is Whitby. Oh and there is some video blogging to view.
Needless to say it was great to get away with glittersavvy and we stayed out at the Firs in Runswick bay.
The bay was great and of course Sam has pictures (go see) and we made our way to Whitby.
The Spa was fun enough however the line up of bands was kinda crap... nothing really standing out so I suggest only going to the Spa for some
exceptional bands.
Whitby it self was full of great things to do and see. Filled to breaking point with goths, replica ship called the Grand Turk, some good stalls at the leisure
centre where Sam got a great corset and new Spank top.
Lots of pictures were taken of us, and some by crazy japanese girls for the Gothic Lolita Bible (apparently the shit hot mag to get into?).
Good food was had, the abbey visited and a good relaxing time had and of course some fun out on Sunday night at the Metropole.
Compared to Infest it was really quite relaxing.
It's now been over a week since we got back from there and since then I've had the joy of good old bit of a cold and chesty coughing as a follow up the a great Halloween,
a slightly sleepy viewing of the Nightmare Before Christmas in 3D, a visit to Hannah's place and recovering, the Angelspit gig and being at work. This week has more fun in store.
