So last weekend myself and glittersavvy head out into the wilds of Coventry to find the goth club, Heresy, based out of the Tuns. It was good to get out and meet fellow goths in the area even if the music was not quite our cup of tea. It was truely strange considering we bumped into dorothy from Manchester!
This week at work I have felt less useless and have actually been getting my head round some new programs, ordered my new PC for work and have now got my first calculation started. Huzzah! No really it's that important. I feel like I can start making a contribution.
Finally this week I got back the deposit and rent from the old flat, and the relocation package out of the uni. So finally I am feeling less skint and I can start paying back my sister and my mum the money I borrowed.
Otherwise this week has been amusing, I am feeling more comfortable in the group and Friday lunch time group meeting take place at the pub. Yes, my supervisor can put those pints away and still do 'SCIENCE'.
This weekend we headed up to Manchester to collect our wedding outfits from Sam's mum's place, get our hair cut and generally loiter around and get our hotel chocolat fix. We had the fortune to meet up trashykitty and with Majeed from my old research group.
