So soon will be off to Luke and Mich's place for New Year with my mates.

Quickly summing up 2007

• Celebrating the best birthday so far in London
• Going to the Ballet to see The Snow Queen
• Going to a conference in London at the Royal Hollaway.

It's almost that time of year when the stars are right

Weirdest luck ever!!!

Ok so I did rant a few weeks back about a jacket that never turned up. Well it was reshipped with tracking (I'm gonna have a go at the local post office tomorrow to get the money back).

Anyway so I knew (tracked) that it would arrive today, but I was in work. I went home to get the form and called the Parcel Force depot if it would be back there later. Apparently it wouldn't be, it would be at the Fallowfield post office, dumped there as it is closer.

Off I go down there to see if it was put there (this is 3 hours after is should have been delivered) and got told no, and that Parcel Force people are apparently talking crap.

Unamused off I walk back up fallowfield (due to road being out) and lo and behold I see a parcel force van just at the junction to the main road. I call him over and yep....

he had my package.


Weird bit of luck.

It's really nice in there, loads of choice for drinks and food (they have tapas bar and a restaurant) plus a number of absinthes).

Needless to say it is utterly baroque, and has a great drinks menu. I really do suggest this as future drinking venue as it is uber. However animal lovers beware,there are animal heads on the walls, mainly dear and stags as far as I could see.

An Update

Shite, it's been a month since the last blog post that hasn;t been videos or cats or both.

Since Halloween has been a Masquerade ball theme club night which was a good chance to wear my Venitian mask.

of course looked amazing. The next day we braved the Trafford centre.

The weekend after was some Xmas markets meandering, the madnees of not being able to sleep at night and having to play the Nightmare before Xmas soundtrack to maintain any form of coherent thought.

For Viki's birthday was of course drinking and going to TV21, plus Rockworld.

My god that place really has now gone down hill. It's like a school disco that stinks of bleach.

The weekend after that was a trip to Hadfield and then onto Stockport for a photoshoot with

glittersavvy

by her friend. I've seen a few so far but there are some to come soon. Let's just say it was all very goth and that I didn't feel like a local while eating at the local cafe in Hadfield.

We then went to go and see Beowulf which is best to see in 3D at the IMAX.

The following weekend was spent at

's and we went to see the Snow QUeen ballet. It was quite an amazing show, and fortunately having seen it as a play I was able to see through the dance to the story they were depicting. It was great though. Quite a first for me. Of course

glittersavvy

sums up the ballet far better than I do.

This weekend saw us mong out at mine watching some of the usual tripe on TV, then yesterday going out for food at Thai Banana after both the skiing and laser quest plans fell through as part of Zoe's birthday plans. Later was roleplay and typical madness.

This morning

nursed me awake with coffee and then it was off to see the Golden Compass, which was pretty cool and pretty to watch.

It's now not long until I head home for xmas and

is going with me to meet my parents etc.

One slip up and Pinky and the Brain go X rated!!!
