Picture time.... bored before bed

Full on Loki

Coyote

Indeed, you are 79% erudite, 70% sensual, 45% martial, and 83% saturnine.

Coyote was an important being to several Native American tribes. He was one of those tricksters that are found in several world mythologies, in fact very close in temperament and deed to Loki of the Norse pantheon.

Eternally scavenging for food, he represents the most basic instincts, but in other narratives, he is also the father of the Indian people and a potent conductor of spiritual forces in the form of sacred dreams. In the “Myth of the Stars and the Moon” he is shown as a wise counsellor even.

There are more stories about him than stars in the sky. For example, did you hear the one about the “Spying Moon”? It seems that someone had pinched the moon, and Coyote offered to stand in as replacement. Everyone agreed that he made a fine moon, but from his elevated position Coyote could see everything that was going on. Being of an irritating disposition, he couldn't resist blowing the whistle on friends and enemies alike. "Hey, look what Badger is doing behind his tepee!"

Pretty soon everyone was sick of his snooping and voted him out of the sky. But nothing can keep Coyote down for long. Being an old show-off, he loves to impress the girls by juggling his eyeballs. One day he threw one so high it got stuck in the sky and became the star Arcturus. So even now he's keeping an eye on us all.

Last Saturday I gave   a wet willie, then I took it back (-5 points). In October   and I donated clothes to the needy (11 points). Last Sunday I gave change to a homeless guy (19 points). Last Wednesday I ruled Asscrackistan as a kind and benevolent dictator (700 points). In August I helped   across the street (6 points).

Full on Neural...... I need to do some surgery

OK so today lets sum it up.

  1. Lab demonstrating distillation - no fires etc... just broken glassware..... bonus
  2. Check the neural nets. Not to good on the training with this example (too much noise I feel so I need to start plan B, Partitioning Neural Networks). Oh well lets see how it works out when the nets are used, maybe it'll just be drowned out... I hope.
  3. Got another 1000 words written last night. Hopefull do a bit more before roleplay tonight.
  4. Planning some more work..... and what I need ready for my meeting.
  5. Coffee
  6. More Coffee
  7. Graf's
  8. Tried to read my in character journal for roleplay.... even I can't read cos I was that stoned when writing it. Utter madness and crazo (cos I'm just trying to be a crazier guy)
  9. PLanning what to do for the rest of the week.
  10. Major date to set for the Murder Mystery game.... here goes.

By Decree of the appointed officials of the Binsraad the Murder Mystery game "Sherlock Holmes and the Case of the Silver Bullet" will take place on the 16th of December. Those of you who are known to the Binsraad please contact us to be involved. Binsraad Councilors please ensure others are told.
There are only 8 characters available for the game so others present are to be 'cameos'.
Food and drink to be brought along should be in theme. When I say that it is three courses and I think Chinese or indian would be good. Drink wise well Brandy is a must. Main Characters should dress as so ie period victorian turn of century. Smoking jackets and pipes and canes, top hats, bowlers and so forth.

16th of December - Sherlock Holmes and the Case of the Silver Bullet

Location - Lukes (for now unless others have better suggestions)

If the date is a bad one then please say!

Life has a score

Just a test.... make of it what you will.

Observation is reality, but reality gives us a chance to observe. The paradox of quantum theory. The mind uses the faculties at its disposal to make an observation and thus define reality with the consensual world. Yet with out these measurements reality is underfined and exists in it's purest form of mathematics. We are just gold fish at the bottom of the pool watching the shadows of ripples on the surface above.

2006: A space oddity!

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/sci/tech/6135450.stm

Amusing since in the original book the monoliths are on Saturn and not Jupiter.
